| User | BeautifulSoul | | Topic | Gay Rights | | Message | At my school some students are participating in the National Day of Silence for Gay Rights. It is a day to not speak in support of gays, bi-sexuals, transgenders, and others. They are either supporting themselves or friends. I would like to know how you feel about gay rights. Oh, and also a teacher in our school directly infringed on one of the student’s rights by saying she had to answer the teacher’s question or be sent to the prinicpal’s office for a detention. How do you feel about this? Is it right for a teacher to go against something a student believes just because she wants that student to answer a question or do you feel it is the teacher’s right to make the student? |

We’re all just really confused monkeys chilling in our manufactured natural habitat in outer space, that make sounds with our throats and pretend the oscillations "mean" "something". There is no meaning, there is no god. Let’s just get on with it and let the stupid monkeys fornicate who they please, while the other stupid monkeys can worship what they please. |
| User | Blue Monk | 2008-06-29 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | No one is ever "created equal" as a matter of reality. The concept modern, Western thought is to offer equal rights under the law, which is all we really do or do not have. If you don’t like the law, change it.

| User | mae | 2008-06-21 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | No, joey, I’m not saying that. I’ve never said that. I’m simply trying to point out the fallacy of the ’created equal’ comment. It’s a nice idea, but what does it mean really? If we are all created equal, then it would have to be the lowest that we use as our standard, would it not? We may all have equal value - and I would submit that we do - but we are not created equal. Every single one of us is different in almost every way from every single other one of us. Some people seem to have no usefulness on this earth other than to keep a spot warm for someone else. Are they "equal" to someone like DaVinci who have talent oozing out his pores? Obviously not. Do they have equal value? Absolutely.
I’m rambling on here. My point was to be facetious, not to say anyone was inferior to anyone else.

| User | mae | 2008-06-20 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Equal? Equal to whom? Or what? Does that mean the lowest common denominator? That’s sort of backwards evolution, isn’t it?

Sorry super girl, but no. Nobody is created equal, otherwise there would be no evolution, and without evolution mankind wouldn’t exist to make up ridiculous shit like "everyone is created equal" or "intelligent design". |

| User | Blue Monk | 2008-06-04 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Now we must consider the question of why it might matter if the man in the poem was "a jew". If the "tiffany" was jewish, this would (or should) be a primary concern when considering a mate.
Question, would a jewish mother consider it a plus if her gay son was marrying a doctor? |
| User | Blue Monk | 2008-06-04 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | Fence posts can be considered phallic in nature (for whatever reason), the fence wall itself might be interpreted as either protective or imprisoning, depending upon the perspective. Of course a closed fence wall could be made to look like a big bucket, which gets back to a vagina or (maybe in this case) a surrogate of such. |

Neat-o.

| User | Blue Monk | 2008-06-02 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | "Bucket" has an obvious sexual reference. At least if you keep Dr. Freud in mind. Now, the "fence" thing... upright, posts, isolationism perhaps - yet another picture. |

| User | machine dream | 2008-05-29 | | | Subject | untitled | | Message | tiffany sat on a bucket and said to herself,
"tis a fine bucket I sit apon!"
and she glanced to her right and also her left
noticing a man in a fine leather vest
and these words he spoke,
"oh tiffany with your bucket so fine won’t you, oh won’t you ever be mine?"
and tiffany thought for a moment or two before replying,
"are you a jew?"
to which the man in the fine leather vest was forced to respond
"no ma’am I was never a jew!"
and how guilty she felt
for his words were diamonds dug out of mines
and his eyes did glow with the fire of
dare it be said?
love!
yes love shone in this man’s eyes
and he said to her a second time
"tiffany with your bucket so fine, won’t you, oh won’t you ever be mine?"
and just this once she had to say
"I’m a man, so only if you’re gay!"
and he was
and they got married in Vermont! |
