 Message  Hey elite skill folk,

Hows everybody doing? I think I’m going to stop submitting and just write for myself for a while. I get this feeling nobodies reading. Well it’s more than a feeling I must be honest. The comments reflect it. Feeling kind of like the Highschool Senior who still rides the bus to school.

I don’t no what else to say really. I’m tired. I love to write poetry, I hate to feel like it doesn’t matter to anyone. I know thats a pretty dumb way to feel and pretty shallow, but there it is. So I guess I need to back away from the submitting end of things and just be a reviewer for a while. Maybe I’ll discover a new way to write that people really like to read.

Message  Aw, well, I’m sorry you feel that way. I suppose I should take a break, but I am writing for myself a lot lately. I hope you come back soon refreshed and happy.

Message  Yes, I see what you mean. I think everyone has something to say but can be so busy saying it that we forget to listen. I think poetry is important to people when they read it, but that they just have to shift into the mode of listening. I confess that I get that way as well. But perhaps I should just do as you do. Listen. Who knows, I might actually learn something if I kept my mouth shut long enough! : )

Message  Fizz, I love your work you know that.

As far as people not reading on here. Maybe the site is just going through a dry spell. It just needs a little time to catch up. I myself have been in the midst of a dry spell. I haven’t really written anything in a while. I’ve tried, but the words just won’t come to me right now. Anyhoo....I do hope to read more of your stuff soon. If you stop posting on here, do e-mail some stuff every now and then.
