Basic plot- serial killer who kills bad guys (And happens to work for the cops as a ...wait for it...blood spatter analyst.)
It’s a real live, Disney meets Dahmer concept-appealing and morbid. (Ever notice someone always dies or is already dead in Disney flicks...?)
Make sure your character is easily connectible with your readers- if you can connect, you can sell ANYTHING...

Actions are the only things that can be evil and the person has the choice to do bad or good things. I would actually like to read a story where the bad guy doesn’t just beat up people or is tormented inside who hungers for blood and gore. Read some of the Elric books, get a small idea as to how an evil hero may act. Draw inspiration and make your own new dark avenger from what you learn.
