 Topic  Is it important?
Message  In poetry is it more important that you , yourself undertsand the meaning or should it be easy fro readers to understand what is going on?

For example look at the four poems I have submitted, "A lover or a friend" is always popular because its easy to interpret. But I’m expecting negative feedback on "Expected Return" as it only makes sense to me and uses a lot of imagery.

Let me know what you think?

Message  If you can’t convey a message to the reader than there is no reason reading it is there? Keep personal meanings to yourself. In writing, you need to either illustrate a message, a story, or emotion.
