 Topic  Spider In The Bath
Message  There’s a lovely big, black spider
Living in the bath
I look at him with caution
Don’t want to make you laugh
He comes across as so ferocious!!
Lovely hairy legs!
Fell from a nice corner
Where had made his bed
Slipping up the sides now
Sliding straight back down
Shame I have to do this
My face is in a frown
Goodbye my little monster!
So sad to see you go
I slowly turn the tap on
And test the gentle flow
Watching him with sadness
He hasn’t got a clue
Here’s hoping that he lands safe?
I do, I really do!!

Message  Apparently *spiders* comes top of the list of what the English are afraid of, surpassing the threat of a terrorist attack? :)
Don’t know why this is because it’s irrational no poisonous spiders in England?
I think most of us can cope if they are still and we can see them, it’s when they move quick and you see them out of the corner of your eye!! eeeeergh!
Not many of us like killing them either? :)

Message  i absolutely abhor spiders... they have so many legs and they are so creepy looking! however, at least i let them live now. i found a tarantula in my room one time. scared the *&%$ out of me! i put a cup over it and piled on book after book after book on top of it. couldn’t sleep the rest of the night. my landlord came that day and took it away to release it somewhere. ewwwwwww!!! i do try to avoid getting the shower water on the daddy long legs that show up in my shower, though. even though they are technically the most poisonous spiders, but they are too small to bite, thank God!!
