| Message | hello to anyone. as you can see, from the title, i am indeed new. this is the first forum i’ve been on so i’m going to have to get used to everything. i guess i’ll introduce myself and explain where i’m coming from. my name is jay, i’m 19 years old and i live in new york. i’ve been into sports my whole life playing on the school soccer team. outside of school i play racquetball competitively, and practice martial arts (which i am still no good at). i never appreciated the arts much until, about a month before i moved, i met this girl who was "goth" (i hate to label anyone especially her because i honestly don’t know, but in a way it is needed to tell the story). how we met is not important, but she introduced me to her friends. they all got together almost every weekend and played board and video games, and wrote stories and poems together. i tried to be there as much as i could because it was always a great experience. the things they came up with were amazing. fantasy science fiction type stories and poems. longer story short, their boyfriends didn’t like me. its obvious the reason was because the different cliches. so, before it got to the point of fighting, i left it alone. and now, that brings me to this site. i guess i’m looking for the same thing i had a while ago. a place to experience new things. im looking forward to reading your stories and poems and whatever else there may be. hopefully i can put up some of my stuff too and people can tell me how bad i am hahah. |

| Message | Don’t worry about breaking it down in paragraphs and all that stuff not too many people do. Sometimes im lazy and lay around thats where my friends come in the keep up to speed. anything can happen when it comes to stuff like that, thats why you shuold sometimes share problems w/ people because they can help w/ it.
anyway i gotta go and im looking forward to reading your stuff too. |

| Message | well, thanks for reading it jenn. im excited to meet new people and that whole deal. i realize now that it is quite long and i guess i could have broken it down by simply adding paragraphs. im slowly learning the forum technique.
thats pretty interesting that the same thing happened to you. when i used to go to their houses i used to think that i was the only one this could happen to. looking forward to reading your and everyone elses stuff. |

| Message | will surely read yours. i’ve been writing for a little less then 3 months now and i always seem to write something light and almost a joke. the girls always pressured me to write something more serious and dark i guess you could say because i grew up in a cult and i have a lot of anger and hatred, but i never wrote about it. once i finish writing this i’ll read your stuff. but, whenever i think about it, too many things come to mind and i can’t concentrate. i guess, now that i’m on this site and will be in this community, it gives me a reason to work on something. |
