 Topic  Bird Writer
Message   Hi! I am new here. I did not know any better place to introduce myself, so here I am. I would like to learn how to write a story about my pet bird. I am 44 years old, but have the heart of a child. I would like to know what the proper parts or components of a story are.It has been said that I have a good vocabulary and that I am eloquent so perhaps it is time to begin writing.

Also, I would like to know how to organize the bits and pieces of my story. Is there a way to begin? I have no idea. I have never been much of a reader though I am an avid listener and have much to say concerning many areas including politics, health, and even spirituality.

I look forward to being a part of this forum.Help me tell a story of a very demanding little bird named Rita.

Is there a way to get auto-notification?

Message  I’d be glad to help you with anything you need. I’m currently working on a novel myself concerning different things like the Philosopher’s Stone, the Garden of Eden, Atlantis and the Minoans, et cetera, but I enjoy writing kid tales as well and a story about a bird sounds fabulous. I’m acquainted with the parts of a book and how to write one, or even a short story if that’s what you’re looking for. I’d be happy to assist you, just drop me a line on EliteSkills PM or, more preferably, YIM or AIM (Yahoo: Aphotic_Ambience / AIM: xCognitionNexusx) or email me at underink@gmail.com --- I *will* get back to you and help you out. I don’t want to get into a lengthy explanation here because it would take so long and I would need a bit of Q&A before I could properly assist you; I’m not going to throw out a general explanation without knowing things about the plot you’re interested in or examples of stories you’d like to mimick, et cetera. I’d also have to dig up examples and references that I can’t really do here on a school computer.

Just let me know if you’d like some help, even if I’m not around I’ll get back to you ASAP.
