I'm going to Russia in August! I'll be there for four months teaching kids English. I am so excited, I can't express it. There's a bit of terror mixed in there, too. Gah! I think I'm going to explode!!!

I just wanted to say that I love the new prettiness that greeted me when I visited EliteSkills for the first time this year. Love the pic at the top. Love the cute monster to the right. A little creped out by the hooded person who seems to be staring at me. And the big E being sucked into a black hole is pretty neat, too. I love prettiness!

Me = Sad because my inspiration went bye-bye. Perhaps it will return, but until then I'll just work on character profiles. Those are always fun. *sigh*

Me = Happy because I finally got inspiration to write again. Or maybe I have the cause and effect turned around, and I have inspiration to write because I'm happy. Either way, I'm happy - and that is pleasantly new sensation.

Al my summer camps are finally over. Getting ready for college and trying to get a job. Ergo, dunno how much time I'll have to write. I'm trying to do something like a series of short stories. It's really an excuse to play around with a character in a futuristic environment. Should be fun.

I am extremely nervous right now. I just sent out an application to attend Orson Scott Card's Literary Boot Camp, and I really want to get in. It's limited to eighteen people. Eighteen! And I sent in a first page that I wrote, in an hour and a half, right before we went to the post office to mail it overnight! I hope it's worth it. I really hope it's worth it. I want to get in so bad! Well, if I am accepted then I'll know by April 10. I'll update then. In the meantime, I will completely freak out and be utterly unable to pay attention in any of my classes.
