    dotsJournal: Feeling Olddots
    Mood: Thinking...

    I recently received an email from about my account. I have been so caught up with life, I forgot that it existed. I read through a couple of poems I wrote when I was in high school, and I am in complete disbelief. It's sad knowing that I loved to write poetry as much as I did, and I just stopped one day. Every word takes me back to that exact moment in my life. I hope that every person reading this never forgets their passion for writing. Good or bad, we all have a reason for putting our thoughts, feelings, and stories in ink. It is so we, and our readings, can remember hardships we've been through, our cries for help, the laughs we've shared, and the places our imaginations have take us.

    Don't ever stop writing.

    O no, I see,
    I spun a web, it's tangled up with me,
    And I lost my head,
    The thought of all the stupid things I said,
    O no what's this?
    A spider web, and I'm caught in the middle,
    I turned to run,
    The thought of all the stupid things I've done,
    I never meant to cause you trouble,
    And I never meant to do you wrong,
    And I, well if I ever caused you trouble,
    O no, I never meant to do you harm.
    O no I see,
    A spider web and it's me in the middle,
    So I twist and turn,
    Here I am in love in a bubble,
    Singing, I never meant to cause you trouble,
    I never meant to do you wrong,
    And I, well if I ever caused you trouble,
    Although I never meant to do you harm.

    Tehe, first time in a million years I've actually written in this thingy. It's kinda spooken me out! Okay, I had to add this poem. It's really good.

    Richard Cory

    Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
    We people on the pavement looked at him:
    He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
    Clean favored, and imperially slim.
    And he was always quietly arrayed,
    And he was always human when he talked;
    But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
    "Good-morning," and he glittered when he walked.

    And he was rich - yes, richer than a king -
    And admirably schooled in every grace;
    In fine we thought that he was everything
    To make us wish that we were in his place.

    So on we worked, and waited for the light,
    And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
    And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
    Went home and put a bullet through his head.

    - Edwin Arlington Robinson -
    "The Children Of The Night"

    Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
    It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
