they said yes. nz immigration finally said yes. and now we just gotta get zelalem to nz and we will be together once more... im rediculously overwhelmed right now. thank you for all your thoughts and prayers and encouragements when i just didnt think i could get through this really testing, unfair situation.
so i was fully convinced i wasnt going to get to ethiopia for my husbands brothers wedding... i hadnt heard from immigration or recieved my passport or seen any evidence of money leaving my account for my visa. life has been knocking me round well and truely the last 2 weeks and i was ready to give up and then life just decided to change its mind on the hating jayde plan and i have a 3 month visa to go to ethiopia instead of a 3 week one!!
IM GOING HOME!! to my husband! to my pink bedroom! to my empty kitchen and its keresene burner! to the place that makes most sense. to the place that i belong!
[and fingers and toes crossed when its time for my visa to eng my husband will have a visa to come to nz with me so we can continue our forever together...]
aparently its NaPoWriMo which means you ought to write a poem a day for the month of april. and im gonna try. and im gonna post them. and theyre all gonna be about this month of longing. 23 days til i see my husband. 22 days til i see my husband. 21 days til i see...
but hopefully it will be conveyed in a slightly less monotonous way... hopefully words will support my longing and we'll come out of this month of longing with something exquisite.
feel free to join me on your own NaPoWriMo journey...
