Lay your head
down to sleep, let your tears and worry slip into the arms of the moon...
take a breath of true life, let nothing be in your eyes
but hope.
Step into dreams as nightmares lurk only in corners,
let the doubt be gone into the sea...
make nothing certain but what you know in your heart.
This is my lullaby, my prayer and poem to you,
lay with your soul to heaven and heart into every blessing, let the moon rise with mysteries as old as time, see the stars and tell all their stories...
let dreams take you where you wish you to go, never stop wondering when you wake, forget all darkness as the sun lights on your path...it will come...and as it befalls you, walk on...hand in hand with those put on this world just for you, thank Him ...thank Him ---
