That was the letter only eighteen kids in Europe recieved on 8/18/09 for the 2010 school year. Mellenin Academy is a large school that only has ten dorms and teaches certain students. Anyone's records that had proved themselves to the head of the academy made it in. Humans, vampires, and any other species alike. Their will be drama, action and a little bit of romance.

Details

Rules:
1.) No cybering. Romance is fine, high school remember. But seriously, cybering, take it to PMs or Time skip, but while you're in PMs time skip or something in the roleplay so you don't get left behind.
2.) Violence: Duh? It's highschool, bring on the drama.
3.) OoC to a minimum, it's a distraction from the whole roleplay.
4.) This is a semi-literate to a literate roleplay, if you don't do literate, don't join.
5.) No One-liners you asses, gosh either stop being lazy or stop roleplaying or something. Seven sentences minimum, please.
6.) Use correct punctuation, grammar and USE capitals! It's annoying sometimes...
7.) Cursing: Fucking fine bitches... Just not too much...
8.) IF anything else comes up try to stay updated... please, I will probably add more after making this because I always forget something...
9.) Keep girls and guys equal. [0 girls; 4 guys left]

Personality: Jarany isn't preppy, but she is always happy all the time, like someone shot some happy pills up her butt or something. She is friendly to almost anyone, even some people that are mean to her.
Biography: Jarany was born in Scotland, and she was a straight A student since before she could remember, literally. She lost her memory when she was ten, but was told by her late mother, before she died, that she was a smart happy girl. Jarany never was told about her father and has lived with her gram since she was twelve. She wasn't told anything about her past, although she had a strong feeling it was bad, so she always keeps a positive attitude to try to not trigger something from her past by being sad and gloomy.

She doesn't talk about her family because her dad and brother died 3 months before she got the letter for the academy.

Personality: Dallas isn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier, neither is he all there; the fragments of his mind drift from one place to another. Even so, he is sociable, wanting the best for people and always in a pretty decent mood. He doesn't fit in a certain group, but instead travels between them having no set regimen of who he talks to. There isn't a cliquish bone in his body. Even so, ask him a question about his family or what he did before he joined the Academy, and you will get a blank stare. He is also very competitive in sports, but unfortunately struggles severely in academics.
Biography: Dallas was born in American and spent most of his life there, English is his native language and he even picked up on some Spanish here and there because of his father's job. Even though his father's business was stationed in Spain, his mother and him stayed in San Francisco and saw him occasionally. Well that was until Dallas was caught up in a nasty brawl with some gangsters, and went missing for a while. When he returned home, his mother frightened, she moved them to Spain so they could be a "whole family" again. Even so after that experience Dallas didn't seem the same afterwards, but what truly happened couldn't be known to his parents at all cost. He attended school in Spain, and was recognized heavily for his athletic ability. That is when he became accepted into the Millanin Academy.

Personality: Is a normaly happy person. loves to joke and enjoy everything in life. Is very accepting.
Biography: His parents were bitten by a vampire (mom) and his dad by a lycan. He chose not to turn himself and loves to see his parents bicker. Things don't scare him and thanks to the change in his parents, Alex is able to adapt to their strenght and speed and is now able to keep up even though he's just human. Top of his class even though he's a trouble maker.

Biography: He lived majority of his years serving his master whom turned him a vampire at a young age, his master allowed Akihiko to finally be educated in a higher school since he recieved the letter. Living his life dedecated to certain people, the air of a butler still surounding him yet.

She was a very clever girl, the smartest in the state. Then she got the letter from Millanin Academy, and she became very excited, confused, but excited. This would be her chance to live to her full capacity.

Personality: Hard to hate, yet easy to break. Adrianne is one of the most optimistic people you will ever come to encounter. Even though she might not be the most intelligent person, her bright personality earns her enough favor from everyone. Although her outward appearance shows a strong, courageous, friendly girl, on the inside is just a fragile figure ready to be torn apart. She is 100% case-sensitive and a little more. But even with her hard-to-handle temperance, she is liked by many of the folks that know her.
Biography: There is not much to know about Adrianne's prior life ... at least that's what people are tricked to think. Everything is always bottled up, never peeped or passed to another person's memory, the reason why Adrianne is so fragile and sensitive. According to her, Adrianne lived a happy life with her mother and father, had many friends, and studies hard in school to maintain a good future. But little known is the truth, her dad had walked out on their family with another woman in his arms, her mother had died of alchohol poisoning, no one dared talk to her because of her race, and she barely passes school. But even with all these novel tragedies, she faithfully keeps a smile on her face, to avoid her grim past, and hopes to start a new living at Millanin Academy.

Biography: Piper comes from a small town where everyone talks, which has made her a slightly timid person, for fear that people are constantly judging her. No one really knows much about her past except that she has no known parents and was living with an old lady that she refers to only as Madame when she received her letter. She's always been a people watcher, therefore picking up on other's mannerisms and ticks very quickly and making judgments in social situations accordingly. Keen eye for detail and perfectionism make her quite accomplished in her spell casting and potion making.

Biography: Her dad left her and her mom, and she came to this school to get away from her and her mom. Enough said of that. She profits from a tea shop she owned and still does, even if it's unecessary since the school pays for everything.

Biography: After the suicide of her younger brother, Annie moved away from her grieving mother and moved in with her father and step-mother. Moving away from the depression and pain at her Mother's house, she excelled in school and got a little more talkitive while she was with him.

Biography: Ashley was born into a middle class family. Her mother and father are unknown as are her sisters and brothers. She grew up with her family as a normal girl until her nineteenth birthday. Her boyfriend at the time, Jason, wanted to meet her to give her a special present, or so he said. Once she met him at their secret hiding place, Jason didn't look the same to her. Something was different but she couldn't pin point it. That night Jason and his friends had beaten Ashley and gang raped her. She didn't know that Jason and his friends were Vampires. During the beatings and rape, she had passed out from all of the trauma. The next morning, Ashley woke up with a sharp pain in her neck and blood covered her bed. She wasn't in the bed when she had passed out. Ashley's natural tan skin was now pale and her nice, ice blue eyes, were green. She was a vampire. After the events that had happened on that dreadful night, Ashley swore she would never allow another woman to go through what she had gone through.

Biography: Harume,often nicknamed Haru,was born in a a small town where there was high heat in summers and a lot of snow in winter.She lost both of her parents in a car accident when she was 4.She was taken in care by her grandma,who got killed by an unknown vampire when Haru was 12.She sold her house and,ever since,she lived on her own.She was nice welcomed at a hotel by a nice man,until she turned 14.From that on,she lived all by herself,into an improvized house she found abandoned somewhere in woods,at mountain-side.
