She smiled at him "there are a million things you could do, i would try painting first cuz you dont really have to know what your doing just....throwing colors on paper" she said with a smile looking around as she sat back and strached tiredly and yawned.
"Yeah, maybe." Jake said as he took the seat which Torin had earlier gestured at, knowing that the majority of the class would either be spent talking or loooking at Torin's work. Which would be no doubt much better than his. "I doubt it though." He said quietly and looked around the classroom, where some students had already began the projects which were coming into shape.
Torin smiled at him "art cass is fun you cna do a billion different things! i'm sure you'll find somthing your really good at!" she cheer happily walking in the art room and greeting the teacher who chimed back happily she smiled and looked at the table sitting down she gesured for him to sit wit her. "Its fun dont worry the teachers really laud back just do your best."
"Great..." Jake sighed quietly and looked down at his feet for a moment, where his old battered Converse All-Star pattered over the school halls quietly. "I suck at art, all I can draw is stickmen and doodles." He laughed, looking back up to Torin and deciding to move on from the subject of what Torin had been thinking about, she obviously didn't want to talk about it. And Jake, only just being a new aquaintance, wasn't the one to press on about it.
Torin stood asnd shrugged her shoulders beaming happily 'art class!" she cheered happily looking at him she shrugged her shoullders. "its really nothing worth talking about" she told him calmly and smiled nodding her ehad she walked out of the class room and towards the art class calmly humming to herself glad to be going to her favorite class
"Ok, if you don't want to talk about it." Jake said and smiled as he stood up and looked around the packed classroom at some of the other students who were slowly doing the same. Seemingly hesitant, much like Jake probably would be once he started to get the hang of this school, to get to the next lessons.
Torin blushed slightly "Nothing it'd sound weird any wy" she said waving her hand in the air calmly she roaned aggravatedly and watched the teacher write somthing on the board. closing her eyes she massaged her temples tiredly wanting to leave almost as if willed by her thoughts the bell ran and she sprang from her seat. quickly. she smiled at him and noded her head "time to go"
"Coincidences?" Jake asked, now ever more curious as to whatever it was that Torin was thinking about. In his eyes, nothing was coincidence, everything happened for a reason. No matter how obscure or seemingly unknown it might be.
Torin jumped and looked at him bright eyed blushing slightly ashe looked away from him "Nothig...just thinking anout a few weird coincedences" she mummbled calmly tilting her head to the side she sighed and closed her eyes. she dropped her head to the ground tiredly and groaned "Mannnnn i hate school" she whined and whook her head. "Is it over yet?"
Jake laughed. "You never know, if you play your cards right you might get something to read." he said and laughed slightly. Knowing that if he did show her, chances are, she would think the stories were as bad as Jake knew they were. But that's just the way things went.
Torin smiled at him and nodded her head calmly. "Its okay...i bet their better than you give them credit but i guess i'll never know" she said with a laugh and a shrug she looked around still trying to understand why this guy looks just like the one in her dreams. She shrugged the thought away. it had to be coincedence...i mean what else could it be? just..pretty freaky coincedence.
Jake laughed and shifted the notebook away slightly, almost instictively. "It is true, I can't write for Jack..." he said and looked up at the front of the class, where Torin's eyes had just turned to.
Torin pouted slightly and looked at the notebook curiously tilting her head to the side "I'm sure thats not true..." she mummbled and looked at him with a smile, she was tempted to press on and ask again. but she didnt want to bother him or being rude. so she turned back to face the black board and wrote down the few notes that were givien before the teacher decided that she needed to get to gradeing the essays and left the students to themselves. she closed her eyes and sighed streaching happily she yawned leaning back in her chair and stared off into space. "Hmmmm....sorry i'm not very good at making conversation, i'm a bit anti social actually" she said with a soft laugh.
Jake laughed and looked up at Torin, having just been looking down at a notebook laying on his table. "No chance, they suck." He said and blushed slightly, thinking about anyone reading his stories was quite embarassing for him. Most people told him that his stories were really good, but he just ignored it. He didn't write to show people, he wrote as something to do. And to spill out ideas, usually dreams, onto paper. It was a nice stress relief.
Torin grinned at him "YOU SHOULD LET ME READ THEM SOME TIME!" she said excitedly then blushed placeing a hand over her mouth timidly "sory...i tend to get...over excited about peoples creations and stuff" she said softly looking at him with a timid smile on her face she nodded her head. "but..uh anyway..."
Torin looked at him with a soft grin and shrugged "Anything, Everything, whatever i want to keep, whatever memories worth preserving. i take a photo" she said softly and smiled looking at him she tilted her head to the side "what do you like to do?"
"No, it's cool." Jake said quickly, amazed by the sudden bit of philosophy from Torin. "Cool, and quite true actually." He added and smiled, realising that there was probably more to Torin than first shows.
She blushed slightly and nodded "yeah...phatography, art, literature. i like...alot of stuff" she said softly and tilted her head to the side curiously "its kinda boring really..." she said softly "no one really gets it, but..its like..." she smiled softly and stared off into space "like have you ever seen somthing, that was just..so breathtakinly unique? even somthing that you see everyday? everything, everytime it hapens...its different. its beautiful in its own way: she froze and her face turned a bright red "wow that was really cheesy sorry for going all disney channel cliche on you there..." she said dropping her eyed and shifted.
