Karii opened her eyes as he pulled away from the kiss, looking warmly up into his. Her own hands slid gently around his waist, resting on his back as he cupped her face softly in his hands. She smiled warmly, still gazing into his eyes as he spoke. "I love you too." she whispered faintly back, she was having a bit of trouble finding her voice in the heat of the moment. Karii took in a small breath as he leaned in and began kissing her again. At this moment, she felt as though she was connected with him on a stronger level. The feelings she was currently having, seemed to become stronger, and more emotional.
Being so close to her, and caught up in the moment, Din could percieve her thoughts and feelings. 'I love her so much..and she returns it...This could not get any btter' As he broke the kiss, Din's hands trailed up Karii's sides to cup her face gently. "Karii...I love you so much..." he whispered, before leaning forward to resume their kiss. And by cupping her face, he could now send her his thoughts and feelings too.
Karii smiled as he spoke, lifting her head to gaze warmly back into his eyes. Her cheeks burned red as he gently pressed his lips to hers for the second time that day. Only this time, it was much more affectionate and a lot less awkward. She felt more comfortable now, as she ran her hand up along his back and gently into his hairline. Her train of thought had been halted, all she could think about was what was happening at that particular moment. The way his bodt felt against hers, the feel of his lips. Her love for him.
Din whispered bck sotly, "It's only perfect because of you Karii..." With gentle pressure, he pressed his lip to hers once more, kissing her much softer and more sweetly than before. 'Thank the heavens for bringing this beauty into my life..' he praised silently. His hands laid at her waist, where he trailed his fingertips over the small of her back.
Karii sighed softly as she pressed her face against his chest. He was so warm, she took a deep breath. His smell. It was so inviting. She smiled happily, as his arms pulled her close. There was nowhere she'd have rather been at this moment. She could hear his heart, beating fast like hers. Silently, she slipped both her arms around him as well, squeezing softly as she shut her eyes. Everything was perfect. "Thank you... For a perfect day." she said softly, though her voice was somewhat muffled against his chest.
With an even warmer smile, Din held her close, wrapping both arms around her to cradle her against his chest softly. Leaning his head ontop of hers lightly, he closed his eyes and began to sing for her. His heart was pounding in his chest, his skin was burning with warmth and behind his eyelids, all he could see was her.
"Mhm." she smiled, blushing more as he laid beside her and kissed her forehead. She didn't know why he was thanking her, Karii felt as though she should be thanking him. He'd done, what seemed, like so much for her. She couldn't have imagined a better day, or a better person, to be spending her time with. Just the way he made her feel, it was dream like, but she knew it was real. She turned on her side, facing him as she placed her hand on the side of his neck, in a somewhat cradling fashion. She honestly couldn't be happier. "I'm really happy to be here..."
Din's smile widened as heartfelt warmth burned beneath his skin after hearing her sentiment. He laid back beside her, on his side so that he could keep his eyes locked with hers. "Thankyou Karii...." he whispered softly, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. He leant forward, brushing his lips against her forehead lightly in gratitude. As he pulled away, he slid his other arm around her waist to hug her gently. "I'm reall happy to hear that..."
Karii nodded. Wishing sometimes she could be alone like he could, but she never could imagine being away from her family, what she had left for that long. A somewhat saddened look crossed over features as she she thought about him. No family anymore. "Well I'll keep you company for now." she said softly, now gazing back into his eyes. Being in his home felt almost like a privilege to her, like not many people got to come into his sanctity.
Din smiled a little as he watched her take in all of the scenery. He reached over to gently take her hand in his before answering. "It's..lonely sometimes. But the peace and quiet can be very nice aswell. And I'm not always alone; other elves will stay for a little while before heading off again. He chckled softly, remembering his last visitor. He was a very old man, but his experiences and stories were amazing. He was also quite a wise man aswell, and he'd stayed for about 3 months. 'I always saw him as my father...since my real one was gone..' he thought to himself.
"Ohh. Its still very nice. I've never seen anything like it." she replied, looking around his home. Its was intriguing to her. since she'd never lived by herself. Since her mother had died, she always lived with er father and younger brother, until she began her apprenticeship with Ms. Yamada. "Whats it like? I mean.. Living here, by yourself?" she asked, hoping she wasn't being too forward by asking. She smiled as he layed her on his bed. Karii blushed a bit, knowing this was probably where he slept every night. It was extremely soft, nothing like the bed she slept in at Ms. Yamada's.
"Nonono, this is just one part. There's places like this all over this cliff face. It was built by elves something like 50 years ago. It's why people could never find us...you'll see there's connecting tunnels built underground all over this forest" Din explained, bringing her over to the part that was his home. Inside was a bed built of what looked like feathers, and even fur but in reality, it was an assortment of plants and non-living matter that the elves had engineered. Laying her down on it, he sat beside her with a warm smile on his face. The bed itself felt like he was sitting feathers, but all he could think of was Karii.
Karii gasped slightly as they plunged over the side of the cliff. She wasn't afraid, but slightly surprised at how quickly they were descending. She smiled, still gazing into his eyes, knowing she could really trust him. He;d given her no reason so far, not to. As they fell, she closed her eyes, her arms still wrapped tightly around the back of his neck. As they landed, she was surprised at how soft it was, almost as if they had never even fallen. Opening her eyes, she looked around, noticing that they were at the entrance of the cliff, but it was amazing. She never would have guessed. It was like his own little escape, but it was his home. "This is amazing. Did you do this all yourself?" she asked, still gazing up at him, but a more excited expression graced her face.
Din smiled softly as he took one more step, right over the edge. They started to fall, and fast. But he never took his eyes off of her, never even once looked like he was afraid. Several moments later, they hit something soft; a net made of an extremely soft, but very strong fabric. Din didn't move, but they had already started sliding inwards. If she looked around, she would notice that they were now inside the cliff, in a natural cavern. "Welcome to my home" Din whispered, presenting an entire complex built underneath the forest.
Karii smiled, only feeling a bit startled when he proceeded to pick her up. Wondering where they could possibly be going. It was only when he carried her to the edge of the cliff, that she peered over the side. This was somewhat exciting to her, being that she assumed he would be taking them over the edge. She hadn't been in mid air, hundreds of feet over anything in a long while. Her father had forbid her from riding her broomstick ever since she'd had taken a nasty fall. "I trust you.." she said, gazing warmly into his eyes. Ready for whatever he was planning to do next.
Din smiled brightly at her reponse, looking down at her with an adoring gaze. "I live...well, it would be easier to show you.." With a secretive smile, he picked her up with startling ease. 'Thanks to my father...I have the strength to do this' he noted wryly. He carried her to the edge of the cliff, holding her very carefully. He leant down to place a soft kiss on her forehead. "Trust me okay? he asked quietly, knowing the next bit would probably freak her out.
Karii sniffed quietly, she grinned warmly as he spoke. She always had wondered when this would happen for her, but she never guessed it would have happened today when she woke up this morning. "I am too.. And.. I love you too." she said, somewhat awkwardly, but she meant it. She'd never said to anyone before, well, except for family, but that was different. Karii lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him, another question having popped into her head. "I.. Don't mean to pry or anything but.. Where do you live Din?" she asked, her voice squeaking a bit as she did, though she didn't know why.
Din felt ecstatic, but he kept himself a calm as he could, pressing his lips to her forehead softly before continuing to cradle her. "I..I really do love you Karii..and I'm so glad you like me aswell..." he whispered, a genuine smile gracing his expression. He nuzzled his cheek against hers lightly before closing his eyes. 'I can't believe it happened...but I'm so glad it did' he thought to himself.
Karii nodded, already understanding what he had done. "You must feel pretty strongly, my feelings for you just doubled.. If thats possible." she said, raising a hand to wipe her eyes. Even though he wasn't doing it anymore she could still feel it, probably aftermath of some sort, but it was still strong. "If it was, I'd tell you.. And I wouldn't feel the same, and I do. I'm glad you showed me..." she said, wrapping her arms around him as well. At that moment, there were no doubts in her mind, about anything.
Din let go of her hand after a moment, noticing that she was crying. But for once, he knew it wasn't because she was sad. "That was me showing you exactly how I feel for you Karii.." he whispered in explanation, smiling down at her. He presed his lips to the top of her head, to calm her before he wrapped his arms around her again. "I'm sorry if this is too fast...but I just wanted to show you so badly.."
