Mabui had always been the outcast because she liked girls instead of guys. All the kids at school gave her a hard time and even her own family avoided her. Since it had never occured to her to lie about what she was the whole world seemed to know about it. And all the whispers and rumors seemed to make this shy and timid girl even worse. But then a new girl comes to school and sticks up for her. Even when she learns about Mabui's special preference she stands beside her. Could this girl be her first friend or maybe her first love?

"No, I think that's a great idea!" She nearly yelled as they walked down the hall. Ebon was easily excited, and anything involving history was very exciting.
