When pirates roamed the land and stole everything in their path. There came a brave Princess who would try and stop them. Little did she expect them to kidnap her. She, herself, was stolen. Something that none of the pirates had expected was that the princess was to be wed and once her prince found out he would look for her. One thing they also didn't expect was that the princess was good at sword fighting. When they placed a sword in her hand she was able to defeat one of them. It kept her alive as she traveled with them along their way. After a few months her prince finally comes to her rescue and tries to save her but he cannot and he gets trapped there as well.

Kairi looked up towards the window and looked at the sky. She couldn't help but me mesmerized by it everytime. She remembered when she was little when she used to catch fireflies at night. She closed her eyes and tried to remember. She was only 4 and her parents had just had her new baby brother. She was older than him by 3 years, about. She tried remembering more of her brother but she couldn't.
Johnathan nodded and he too walked back onto the deck. The sun had just started to set, making the sky more beautiful than any of his paintings. He always had preferred sunset and the night to sunrise and the day. They just seemed more magical than the other two.
<I'm just in the bed not moving so someone else can go>
"Alright you two rest and we can keep heading for the tavern. That is the best place to find out about your brother," Johnathan said before walking out of the door. He could not help but wonder what he was getting himself into. This was not going to be an easy quest that was for sure.
<<Scratch my last reply...>>
Kairi nodded listening to him. She didn't look at him once. She couldn't bring herself to it. She just laid in the bed not moving any now.
Linaria nodded. "Alright..." she said softly. "I suppose I'll be talking to you later... possibly about the same thing," she said, standing and walking towards the door, her gaze down. She opened it slowly and stepped through, not quite looking where she was going.
(nah I will just post) Johnathan opened the door to his quarters tired of just listening in. "I'll help you okay. And I will even pretend to believe their is some hope for me. Just please stop asking so tough alright? This goes for both of you," Johnathan said leaning against the door frame. He decided that having those two stop acting like big toughies was more important than his own plan. Which was to go on about his business until his demise.
Kairi nodded and kept looking down. "I will ask him later when he is calm. I would like to get some rest now if you don't mind." She nodded and laid on the bed holding her necklace to her closing her eyes.
(ooh nice twist oh sorry please continue hee hee)
Linaria blinked again, forcing herself to calm down as much as possible. "He might... if you asked him... but... He is so determined that things can't change, I don't know if he would or wouldn't..." she said softly. She didn't know what else to say to convince her. She racked her brain, but couldn't quite figure out anything to say. She whiped at the tears impatiently and looked back at Kairi. She was doing this for him. He had asked her to.
Kairi nodded. "I know all of this. But he is a gentleman and you said it yourself. I gave him a chance. He is a gentleman. I will not have him harmed. He didn't harm me any so why should he be punished? But, if he helps me then he will be rewarded. I've lost something. Well I had lost it a long time ago you see. My brother. Well he was my brother at the time. But my father was kidnapped once along with my little brother and then I haven't seen my brother since. I was wondering if he could help me find my brother. It would mean the world to me to have him back." She looked down. "But I don't the captain would help me."
Linaria opened her mouth and tried to say something, but couldn't. "I'm sorry... it's just hard..." she said softly, closing her eyes in an attempt to keep the tears from coming, but unable to keep a few from sliding free. She continued in a choked voice. "He's stolen, pillaged, taken ship after ship, and he's kidnapped you..." she said softly, falling silent for a moment. She was doing her best, but this was hard and it was painful...
Kairi nodded and looked at her. "Do you think he could help me in a way? No nevermind. He can't help me." She shook her head and looked down. "Keep going." She didn't look at the girl.
Linaria opened the door slowly and walked in. "Forgive me... but he still wants me to try to convince you that the world can't change for him," she said. She walked across the room to sit in a chair. She was silent, trying to think of what to say. "I think I neglected to tell you that man was a Navy Captain," she said, reluctantly.
Kairi heard a sound outside the door and looked at it. "Come in." She yelled. She sat looking down at the ground not sure what to do next. She shook her head trying to think more. She wanted to use Johnathan more. She knew that he knew the waters and it would help her. She nodded and waited for the person to come in.
Johnathan watched as Linaria walked back to his quarters for round two. He knew she had to be wondering why he was being so persistant with this. To tell the truth he didn't know why he was doing it either. Maybe it was because he was at the hieght of his career as a pirate adn wanted to go out in glory. Or perhaps it was because this was as good as life was going to get for him. No neither of them were the true reason he was being so persistant. He just had this feeling. That was why.
Linaria tapped lightly on the door and waited for an answer. She was looking down at the floor boards, trying to get a grip on herself. She didn't like this one bit and it was painful. She was doing this for him - trying to convince the one person who had even the slightest chance of helping John that it was hopeless...
