"Sure." He chuckled on the inside. He wondered why she looked at him out of the corner of her eye like that. Well a vampire like him, he wasn't much for looks. They didn't matter to him.

She looked at the man from the corner of her eye. What a strange creature...and the smiling was new to her..He actually treated her like she was like everyine else. "Fine," she said. "Come to my house. You can stay there."

Azura looked at the ring he was holding. It was beautiful, but she wasn't about to say that. "Nice little trinket." she said disdainfully. "Hurry up.." She held up her finger as he put in the ring. She did the same and soon afterward, they received the marraige certificate; as well as he received his check for 200,000 dollars. "You may do as you wish now. Would you wish to return to my house or to yours?"

Nik pulled out a small silver ring engraved vines entwined the entire ring. "I have it here. Yours is very beautiful, almost as stunning as your eyes."

She didn't reply. There was no point. The ride to the registrar was smooth and before long, they were standing in the office. They signed the papers, and then had to exchange rings. She took out a 24 carat diamond and said, "Where's yours?"

"Sure why not, you seem pretty anxious about it yourself." He rolled his eyes. And slid in next to her.

"I'll act as I feel.." She replied. "Now we'll be going to the registrar to get the marraige certificate.." She looked at him critically. "Come, then." She walked out, where the limo was waiting. The chaeuffeir opened the door for them as she got in. "Inside...I'm sure you'd like to get this over with.."

"You don't have to be so rude." he snapped. He hadn't found her repulsive, she looked normaly compared to his vampiric beauty in a mortals eyes. He found her eyes, very inticing. "Yes, I agree, though I don't think we will get divorced."

Azura looked at the man. He was handsome, granted, but in need of money. His clothes were casual..too casual for someone who come to see his money. "Sit." she said curtly. Her legal advosir explained all the legal matters to him. "You'll be marrying Miss Goran in return for 200,000 dollars per month. This marraige will last as long as it can. When there is a divorce, you will have to leave the house. But Miss Goran will be keeping up your sustanence; a million dollars a year. I hope you agree." Azura kept looking at his face, disgusted. To marry for money..how pathetic. "Of course he agrees." She said. "It's enough money. Now get on with it."

Azura nodded to the clients as they left. It had been a very tiring day..but that didn't matter. She rose and walked out of the office...everyone bowing to her as she passed. Azura knew that they respected her..but more than that they feared her. Azura was ugly, hideous, infact. But, that didn't effect her. She didn't need beauty..beauty didn't bring success..it was intellect and she had intellect. Azura smirked..yes, she was proud of her brains, why not? They had helped her take her father's pathetic little business to the soaring heights. The Goran Corporation was now the world's largest conglomerate on Oil, Timber and Software. Everything was perfect. She din't need friends, or advisors or....."Damn.." She remmembered. According to her father's will, she would have to get married by the age of 25 to retain ownership of the business. Azura knew that wouldn't be a problem; men would be easily attracted by the money, though herface would scare them away soon enough. It didn't matter. All she needed was the marraige certificate...Her legal advisor hade found a man who had agreed to marry her, in return for 200,000 dollars per month..A penny for her. He was going to be here soon..to see her. "Why the hec dows he need to see me? Dosen't he know I'm butt-ugly?" She walked to the lounge where this man would be meeting her. Seeing her coming, the guards, and employees all bowed. A guard opened the door for her. She knew that they all cast glances at her left hand. Because of a genetic defect, her left arm hadn't grown. It was like a stump, exposing the elbow bone. One of her ugliest features. She entered the lounge. Her legal advisor rose and bowed to her.
"Miss Goran, I'm so glad.."
"Shut up and get on with this."Her voice was cold as she sat in the leather-cushioned chair.
Her advisor looked flustered and hurried to introduce the man. Azura looked at him.
