"Tonight I vod to do anything you say. Anything at all, your wish is my command," Johnathan whispered softly in her hair. He figured that being like she was she had not had much control in her life. So he would give that to her tonight.

(Tequila are you still there?)

"You look very beautiful. I am lucky that I came along when I did. Someone else might have taken you," Johnathan said putting his arms around her. He placed a soft kiss on her pale throat slowly making his way up to her mouth. Once again it was as if some million year old male instinct was controlling him.

"I would do anything for you Tequila. I hope that you know that," Johnathan said going to sit beside her. He gently stroked her fair hair surprised by how soft it was. She looked so very beautiful right now it was simply amazing. Like he was looking at a pale faced angel from heaven.

"Sssshhhh it's okay. Don't be sad. I can't stand to see you sad," Johnathan said softly kissing her one both cheeks and then her mouth. He was certain now that he was in love with Tequila. He would marry her, sleep with her, and rule with her. And depending on what she wanted maybe not necessarily in that order.

"Then I think we have a problem," Johnathan his smile shrinking just the slightest bit. There was no way he would become a king, no one could make him do that. He would be a traveler forever, a vagabond, at home in all places. No way would he ever be able to live the life of a king.

"So when do you think they shall set the wedding date? I hae always been a winter man myself. Beautiful time of the year. But extremely cold. Who does that remind me of," Johnathan said noting her parents' reaction. He just hoped that they didn't expect him to become a prince or king or anything.

"So where were we before I interuptted our dance," Johnathan asked with a smile. He could also hear the coments coming from the crowd. But he did not care, never did and never would. Although he was surprisingly angry to hear the insults about Tequila. 'Perhaps this is the plague known as love' he thought to himself.

"For someone who has never been trully loved before you sure are a good kisser," Johnathan said into her lips. He did not know why he had kissed her just then but he enjoyed it. Of course that meant that they would be stuck with each other. Although to him that did not sound too bad.

"You are very welcome," Johnathan said with a smile. He spun her back around so that they were dancing normally again. However that lasted only for a brief while. Soon some male instinct welled inside of him and he stopped. Then he brought her close and kissed her full on the mouth. He did not know why he just wanted to kiss her.

"You are wrong about that last part," Johnathan said twirling her around. Even though he had no place to stay he was very good at dancing. Making a split second decision he spun her out into the floor and then pulled her right back. The end result put her right against his chest. "I will always be willing to help you though it cost me my life," he whispered into her ear.

"I am from everywhere my lady. I no longer have the right to call anywhere my true home. So instead I claim the whole world," Johnathan said somehow managing to keep the smile on his face. It was not one of his happier memories but he had very few of them.

Ryhan walked just outside the ball in the dark. Her hand held the glaive that was the only weapon she ever used. She heard the music and wondered for a moment what was going on inside. She rather wished she could see how hte princess was doing, but she was sure things were fine - she had a duty to fulfill. She hoped that she had no need of hte paid men who were supposed to dance with her... Ryhan didn't know the princess well, but she didn't want her to be hurt more than she had and she did have sympathy for her, though she would never show it in a thousand years.

"Why would I be disgusted by such a beautiful creature. Others would see it too if human faults did not cover their eyes. If I had lived a normal life I might had. But I am anything but normal, Tequila," Johnathan said softly and with a smile. He couldn't help but like this girl's personality. Even though he had only known her for a few moments.

"Only he was paid. I am as broke as I was when I came into this world," Johnathan said reading her face. He had always had a knack to read people's faces to see what they were thinking. And he could read her's as if it was an open book. "By the way I'm Johnathan the Vagabond. But you can call me John," he said moving in time with the music.

"And so it begins," Johnathan said with a smile on his face. Five to one said that the guy had been hired by someone. Which meant that it would be best for him to put an end to this chirade as soon as possible. He slowly made his way through the crowds and to the dance floor. 'So much for not drawing any additional attention,' he thought as people once again began to stare. He stopped right before the two and reached out his hand. "Might I cut in," he asked with a smile?

He chuckeld and smiled. 'Weolcome to my world." he said and they started dancing. Other couples joined in after a moment, but kepy giving them looks. 'you aren;t disgusting." he said.
