He had to just sit back and let them trust him naturally it would take time for him to realize that what he was doing was for their protections and he didnt want them dead. He had no choice but to take this one step at a time. He looked back at Cassie with loving eyes, the first emotions he had ever felt in his entire life.

"Thanks now drive ill give you directions." He said carefully to both tess and cassie. he needed to go now if the sun rose before he made it home he was screwed without his cloak he couldnt survive.

"Im a hunter not a daimon" He said taking offense to what she said. He wasnt one to care but this was him. He had yet to betray them he only wanted to keep her safe. And show her he cared, but his emotions could wait right now he had to go quickly.

He followed them and made certain he couldnt sense any of those things before proceeding. He had more skills then they knew but if they were gonna make it to his underground house they both had to hurry, sunrise was three hours away and his place was 2 hours. He had no time to relax.

"Call me surfer boy again and i promise ill make sure you can never speak again." he said in a passive tone. He had no time for her games either. He stood up and went to his trench coat picking it up off the floor he looked to Tess and motioned for his sword back. He needed it if he was going to protect them both.

And Cassie did just as Tess had predicted. She sat across from Virgil, her eyes looking distant. Shaking her head, the brunette sighed.



"Lead the way then, surfer boy," she said, shouldering both their bags.

He was still sitting there drinking but now drinking straight from the bottle. He wasnt drunk but now he was also smoking. He needed to drown out these emotions. He was disgusted with himself for being so damn stupid for even going to that club or even seeing her in the first place.

He kept drinking, he felt he needed to. Feelings for an Apollite, his father would destroy him for that. Still he had killed his father when he was nearly 100 now he was alone with only two other hunters left in the god damn world. But why her emotions for her of all people. He had never loved or felt compassion for anyone before and yet here he was wanting to love and protect her.

He sat down at the table and looked at the vodka and shot glass on the table. He grabbed it and poured himself a shot. He looked at it and drank it down. He didnt care for some reason he had feelings for the last thing he should never fall for her, but what is it with her. He couldnt help it.

He didnt know what else to do protecting her though was his main concern cause she determined the fate of this earth, she must also bear a child, that he could do , but he would break everycode he was ever tought. "Your not going anywhere but to where i take you for saftey" he said standing in the doorway. He had to protect her he had to defend her. Darkness filled his mind before fading, Daimons watched them, and they were massing.

"Your beginning to become a bother girl." He said looking at her with cold eyes and an itchy sword hand. She really didnt understand who she was messing with. It was another Apollite, what was this city crawling with them, or was he going insane. This was becoming difficult to handle, but he came to see the girl and apparently right in the nick of time.

"Tess shut your mouth." he said sheathing his sword and looking at her with deep eyes. His power was something to be recokoned with and this girl was beginning to piss him off. He stood there silently after that. She wouldnt remember him anyway as he left.

"If you spill so much as a drop of her blood, you have no idea how hard and how fast i will bring this fight to your doorstep." He said as he flicked the blade from its sheath. He then went full frontal assualt killing the first before spinning around holding the tip of his blade to the back of the others neck. "Please just go before i finish you off as well." He said in a harsh tone. He truely tired of doing this but he had no choice.

He too was on the way to the apartment and had reached the door just as the creature forced its way in. He walked through the doorway and leaned against it this time he removed his trench coat and let it fall to the floor. "How many of your kind have i killed." He said cracking his knuckles holding a sword in his hand. He wasnt going to let them have her now. She needed protection.


"Im seriously tired of killing you, when will you learn to just give up." He said sarcastically as he adjusted his vest over his sleeveless shirt.

He stood cloaked on a roof top watching her protecting himself from the sun. He watched her carefully waiting for night fall. he wouldnt leave until he saw her again spoke to her. His face except his eyes were covered by the cloak and his facial mask. He was in a bit of a situation. He was cursed from the sun still he managed to stay in to watch her. He couldnt get it out of his mind or her.
