Dann pressed his lips together tightly, and began to pounder on it. He liked the girl, yes, but not enough to not hurt her. But he wouldn't kill her. No, he found that abnormality intruiging, and special, in some vague way. "Hmm...I'd smack you at best" he confessed to her. He knew he didn't sound so intimidating now, but what the heck! This wasn't one of those "kill all those who oppose the family" moment anymore. He was free from it! Free! He smiled innocently and looked around. "I'm still hungry though..."

Lilli's mouth dropped. "Excuse me?" She couldn't believe it. he was laughing. LAUGHING!!! No one ever laughed when they found out what she was. She didn't know if she should be happy or insulted. She was leaning towads happy. She smiled back. "And what would happen if I did provoke you?"

Dann broke out laughing in a fit, he could see in her eyes that she classified him as a threat. Of course, by common sense, she was right. He was a threat. But at the moment, he felt no need for fight. No, he liked the abnormality. He smiled at her once he stopped laughing. "Don't tense up my dear, I will not harm you unless you provoke me"

She cast a glance at Dann. "Yea I'm a hybrid. Not truly belonging in any species category. I'm a vampire and a vixen. Plus a pixie and a demon pixie. Don't ask. My family was really screwed up." She met him eye to eye and wouldn't look away. she tensed waiting for a fight. He would either run screaming, look at her in disgust, or try and kill her to rid the world of her kind, as the others so nicely put it.

Dann looked at the stranger. The name rang a sense of familiarity. "Armard..."he breath loudly. He remembered that one his "children" had breed an Armard. But he figured that was inrelevant. But his words were perculiar. A hybrid? He hadn't met one in so many years, and the last one detested their "abnormality." He looked at the girl in front of him, and was marveled by her wings. "Wings" he began to say outloud without realizing, "I wish I had wings...to fly...to be truly free"

Ry felt herself dragged into deep sleep, though she still rested in his arms, her own arms wrapping around him, her head on his shoulder.

She turned to see that he saw the man to. "Don't worry about him. He's an ancient vampire. And something else. I don't know what. That's why HE SMELLS FUNNY" She raised her voice on the last part so he would hear. She heard him chuckle and she tensed up even more. She remembered when she loved that chuckle more than anything. Until he tried killing her when he found out what she was. She wasn't about to make that mistake again. When Armand got off the wall and stalked over to them she kept eye contact with him the whole way. He liked ruining her life by telling everyone she met what she was. And this time would be no different. She just wondered what Dann would do. "Evening Lilli good to see you." She smirked. "Wish I could say the same." He smiled and turned his eyes to Dann. "I would be careful with this one hybrids aren't to be trusted." Well he got to the point. Her eyes went to a black shade her fangs extended out and her skin started to go transcultent. She growled low in her throat and let out a hiss. The wings on her back extended out. "Leave Armand before I change my mind. And I never want to see you again." He shrugged. "My work here is done." He stalked off and she slowly went back to normal. She wouldn't look Dann in the eyes for fear of what she would see.

He noticed her tense up, and became baffled by it. What was making her get nervous? Surely it wasn't his dashing good looks, if it were that, she would have tensed up ages ago. No, it was something more. But what was it? He looked around, hoping to spot something unusual. Slowly his eyes came across person and person. But he noted something, an odd smell. Something strange...vampiric? He couldn't tell.

"Wow amazing. and no bashing on Merlin! He was a sweet old man even if he was a little coo coo. Though now that I think about it it wasn't that long ago that he died. Hmm...." They reached the taco stand and her stomach growled. Her cheeks went pink. "Sorry bout that I guess I'm hungrier than I thought" Just then she caught a whiff of something that she recognized and a feeling of dread fell on top of her. He had to come now didn't he? When she was finally having a good time. She turned to see the figure clad in black leaning against the wall. his eyes were practically glowing in the dark and he was staring strait at her. Sighing she turned around and tried to ignore him.

He laughed a bit, finding her way of asking that rather amusing. "Merlin old? Is that even a definate age? 500 years perhaps? No, I'm older. 723 years since I was made"

"Ahhhh....." Also a unique trait in pixie's and vixens but she wasn't saying anything. "OK so I'm a vampire." And a little something extra. "I know your one to. How old are you exactly? I mean are you like merlin old or lestat old? Or maybe a couple years old?" she knew the couple one wasn't right. He had an air of darkness around him that only the old ones had. He has seen things in his life. It was just something you could tell by looking at him. His eyes were haunted looking. But she guessed so were hers.

He laughed slightly, amused. That wasn't it. It wasn't a a disease that led to that. "A disease? No, it's a common vampire trait to have unique eyes that glow in the darkness."

Lilli let out a sigh of relief. So he didn't know about her pixie and vixen blood. Well that's good to know. She walked beside him to the taco shop. "So my tone and my eyes. How do you know I don't have an eye disease or something. I mean hey it could happen right."

He continued smiling, as he looked deep in her eyes," Your tone my dear, that and the inhuman color pattern in your eyes. But I detect something else. A slight trace of humanity? No matter. It makes no difference to me. I have to make up for what I did, no? Plus, you.."He stopped in mid sentence. He was about to call her dashingly beautiful. No, he couldn't say that right now. He simply smiled and walked towards the taco shop.

"It's okay," she said, burrying her face against his shoulder. There were tears in her eyes - involuntary ones. She didn't cry - at lest not often. What was there now was what sprang to her eyes because of the pain.
