"There will be no child bearing with you, demon!" she shouted at him, trying to pull away from him. "Be silent, Elizabeth. " he father commanded her. "Hm. Well, you seem like a fine young man. Perhaps you can even show her her place. " he said with a laugh.
The king nodded thoughtfully. "And what brings you to the decision of marrying my daughter? " he asked him, he seemed amused with his daughter's struggles. "No! Father, please! I do not love him!" she shouted out.
"Really? Because it was said he escaped before he had the chance to be killed. " he said, frowning. Elizabeth shivered at the memory. She had blamed it on the guard who had hurt him and he had been beheaded in his place. She continued trying to push him away.
She pushed him away, disgusted. "No! I do not wish to marry you! I do not love you! Unhand me!" she shouted out again. The king looked on the struggling princess and the boy who claim to marry her in interest. "Weren't you caught as a thief and sentenced to death a few years ago? " he asked, raising an eyebrow, ignoring her daughter's screams.
"I will not marry you!" she shouted at him. "This is not the Zaharen I know and love! Unhand me!" she said.
"Oh yeah, and be very forceful to me. He'll like that." she said with a laugh, looking at him.
She laughed but then shook her head. "He enjoys other people's misery. He'd probably keep me from you just to get on my nerves...I got it! You have to act all snotty and demanding and I'll act like I don't like you and then he'll let us marry!" she said excitedly.
"But he doesn't care. He doesn't care about anyone but himself." she said bitterly.
She laughed and kissed him. "You obviously haven't met my father yet." she muttered with a sigh.
"But if he remembers you?" she asked him sadly with a small frown on her face.
