   Google indexed the pages today. Coincidently Yahoo did too. The Google log is 54k while the yahoo log is 4 k. Yahoo only indexed the front page while google indexed all pages except the data test page. That's pretty interesting because all pages except for that one were given a 0 pagerank(the other remained unranked). Maybe google thought it had duplicate content? The logs show it crawling through some of the test files so it DID see it. Whether or not it didn't give it rank because of file size, link count, or suspected it as potential spam we'll have to wait and see. If it doesn't list them in awhile I'll remove the bottom portion linking back to this main project.



Possible reasons for not listing the data page:


> Google wouldn't crawl all the sublinks (it only crawls x links for "just found" pages so that it may better allocate it's resource in updating known popular sites) in the page thus couldn't give the main page a page rank.

> The content of the subpages was flagged as spam due to duplicate looking filenames of the related files.

> The content of the subpages was flagged as spam due to the backlink footer, similar syntax, and the low amount of words per page.

> The crawler didn't bother with the page due to the number of sublinks with bad html syntax and low content.

   It's most likely because of all the sublinks. Time will fix that. They gave a pagerank to the tips area but not the test data area even though both had several links. For an initial site they won't deep crawl but I think they don't count links to other servers in their count.

   The Test Data page was given a pagerank. The subpages in it have yet to be ranked but the log shows google looking at them. Hopefully it'll workout just link the test datapage. I'm anxious to look at the results and learn from the new found data.

Yes! We're in! All test pages have a ranking.

After letting it set it looks like the results have changed slightly. Spammed keyword in the link text no longer gets priority, neither does alt text.
