And in answer to your question, fiction or non, it is really a combonation of both. It's a metaphorical write, and it's actually about giving into Satan and the power he can hold over us. *shrug* Just a little something :)

Thanks man... that was a hearfelt sentiment that means a lot...

I read your journal... why would you hate how falling in love makes you change your writing? Write about love, about your relationship with this woman--it doesn't have to be about death and despair, although, from personal experience, I know how easily that feeling can feel good--to actually like feeling down and out so that the 'tortured muse' can prosper. I just think... life is double-edged--it can be both good and bad, but both are worthy to be written about to me.

In a nutshell, literature is the full scope of human existence, both beautiful and tragic.

Remember that.
