Thanks for your comment! Don't worry, it's not a true story. It's about a woman in the 1900s who's husband was always at work. After her children have grown up, they realize they're not in love with each other anymore. So now they're recently divorced and she's alone in the flat, thinking of how her life used to be happy. It's partially inspired from the beginning of C.S. Lewis' "That Hideous Strength." I appreciate your feedback, I think there is a bit too much gold in it as well, I'll see what I can do.

no, no I tried not to think badly of the situation and instead welcome your advice. You were absolutely correct as to my typo... and I am thankful I was able to correct it on that advice. I'm glad you liked that poem... though, if you get an opportunity you should check out some of my others and I will gladly return the favor. You can suggest as many edits as you'd like as well. I can't promise I'll be keen to "fix" them all to your liking... but I would be happy to hear what you think of some of my other pieces. You should know however that many of my very old, and very recent writes are rough around the edges.
