I must pose a question... What is the benefit of using Internet English? You know what I'm talking about. Is it so that you can type faster? I've seen sentences that took about five times the normal length to read, just because the writer was so horrible at typing in proper English. I must admit, I occasionally use the acronym "LOL" or "WTF", but that is on rare occasion. I shall give you the comment that begun my ire.

I do not mean to offend anyone by pointing this out, and if anyone has any problems with me using that quote or anything, let me know...
But for the sake of all that is literate. (Did I spell that right?) Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Is it a cultural thing that I am totally missing out on? Please give me a logical reason "2 typ lik dis lol".
Thanks...
...Jacc.
As a side note I am also complaining about text fields with such a low character limit. 15 characters to title a journal? Come on...
