Been away for a month. Actually, it was my little son coming to stay with me. He likes computer games, so that's what we did when we came to this public computer place! (I don't have a computer at home, because it would interfere with my doing nothing.) Thanx4 the nice message!

Maybe it doesn't make your love useless, if your dad didn't know about it .. what's supposed to happen doesn't happen and the world is full of people deploring the fact and trying to get over some massive disappointment. I knew a man who joined the NZ army along with me, and after a few weeks he decided we were happy in the army, but he had never known what "happy" really meant before. So he got mad with his family and wouldn't write to them any more. Well he was not a very logical thinker anyway ... you reminded me why I didn't jump off the ship when I was 16. I decided, just in time, that I could beat the whole world by not giving in. Hmm. Maybe we aren't MEANT to be very logical?
