Hey Maria, thank you for the comment on Decemberists. I liked the title because it seemed transitional. :)
I don't have time for thinking right now. I did see your Athens poem and was won over by the opening lines and some the thought propositions. I'll get to it on the weekend or something. thanks again for the words, for me they were a different view (from what i intended)and somehow that was refreshing.
hullo maria! thank you for giving the piece a shot, i intended it to be a little bit of shock writing, you know? seldom do people give those things a chance. i am thankful you did, and that you got something out of it. you take care now.
I like your quote. In a way it makes me think about harshness and what is condensed when most of the time it is a simple thing I want to be writing.
the 'free act' poem as i understand it
is the nature of us when us is divided.
& something of a refusal to accept denial.
technically, i don't know that i achieved that. i wanted the knowing me part and the knowledge of the deserts' flowering to be plural, as if they were one, or the one was because, and the therefore, the same thing.
if you understand? trying to explain; i barely do, but it's an instinctual thing i am groping for.
i think i am saying, i give up some of my magic, for this.
thank you for the lovely comments and for the writing. it was good to read something that prompted the responding to. :)
