And I have never particularly liked the word 'talent' because it makes me think of a baton twirling girl.
And I have never seen my writing as a learned thing, so much as like an organ or major bone. And as I grow it grows and when I cease to grow so will it (and I have gone through phases where I am stunted or malnourished for sure.)
I've been enjoying your poems and you said it best 'they are...a simple, effortless description of the existence to which I am tethered.' and so I won't go bothering to find synonyms.
nice to know you're interested is someone being interested in your work... from what I've read you pack the lines with a lot that could be missed, that's a good thing.
My comment on your poem wasn't because i wanted you to reciprocate. Just that ES lately you often never hear back from the person and that hearing back is important to if it's to feel like the effort wasn't wasted.
Hope you had a good one at that beach with a poem for a name.
