Disturbed
Mood: Angry
I am so fed up with Bible-thumpers throwing the Bible in my face. I read the Bible, and for those of you who have read it too, I am ashamed that you do not know this. I love God, and I know that I have commited sins in my life, and I will commit many more in the future.
However, I am tired of people telling me that I am going to hell because I have "lain with a person of the same sex". I understand that the Bible says that practicing homosexuality is wrong, and that women shall flock to women and men will flock to men like never before, roses will bloom in a field of roses and daisies shall bloom in a field of daisies, but does the bible not also state that God shall have mercy on whom he will? That thou shalt not judge thy neighbor lest ye be judged? That thou shalt fogive and thou shalt be forgiven? You cannot justify God with the Bible, and tell someone they are going to hell because of what the Bible says. Remember that the Bible was written by a man that God spoke to. Men make mistakes.
If you don't know someone, or what they have been through, then you are not in the proper position to judge them and tell them they are going to hell. Many have already been there and back. God will choose as to whether or not I go to hell, NOT MAN! They may discriminate as much as they wish, but my state of eternity is none of your concern. If you think I am wrong, then pray for me, don't judge me.
SO in short, you don't know me, therefore you cannot judge me. You don't know God, therefore you cannot take his words and assume someone is going to hell. God shall have mercy on whom he will, and only He can open the gates of Heaven. No one else. So I don't answer to you, I answer to Him.
Judge me if you wish, tell me I am going to hell, threaten me with the Bible, but if I go to hell, then I guarantee I shall see you there.
