I have been absent from ES for quite a while now, but I noticed that you commented on one of my last submissions (before I went MIA). Here's a thank you and a grateful nod of appreciation toward your thoughtful comment.
Sorry, I lost your message thingy... but I got it back. (I can't keep track of anything anymore.)
I would explain more about the "wire thingy," but I probably know even less about computers than you do. I'm surprised that I can function at all.
Everything is going alright, I guess. I was gonna go to a HIM concert in October, but they canceled their tour. They're [censored] [censored]s. I will never get over this.
But anyway, what's new with you? Do anything fun and exciting during that vacation?
Hmm... lol If god was an atheist, I guess that would be a self esteem problem. It seems that way
I'm glad your doggy is happy and healthy. Tell her I said hello
Fortunately I don't have time to watch the Newshour on PBS or the Sunday morning news shows much where they regularly show these, otherwise I would be. And yes, I do get teary eyed every single time I see/read about a solider dying (I'm doing it right now here at work) as well as angry. I also feel the same when I hear about the Iraqis, Lebanese, Israelis, and Palestinians who are being killed daily. The point of the piece is that we cannot, unlike Gadfly's opinion, blindly follow our leaders no matter what. I'm all for loyalty to a leader but there comes a time when you have a duty to stand up. Thanx for the comments.
