Ok first things first - how did the Storm costume turn out?! Were you lightning bolts and typhoons? I hope you took pictures! I didn't get to dress up I had to work all damn day.
I tried telling my boss that Halloween was my most super seriously super serious of holidays but he'd have none of it. I think he thought that I might have been lying...but I wasn't.
Whoa!
I said "sell your soul" not "your mortal essence". I was thinking more along the eternal example - a powerful being offers you whatever you desire in exchange for your thralldom upon your death. How fun would it be! You could find all sorts of ways to slip into some loophole and gain ludicrous power!
Of course, if you took it to mean the mortal essence - the desires, the passions, the ability to lose oneself in something, then, of course, that would be quite bad.
I was thinking more like a mark of damnation...so pretty grim but not jet black. Maybe, I'm not sure...depending upon the terms of the deal I'd at least consider it.
I often wonder (in relation to what you said) if love can exist in the way you mentioned. I have certainly never seen it, nor even the inklings of it. But I am not so jaded to think that things I cannot see do not exist. Not yet, anyway - and hopefully not for a long while.
Oh, now, see, if I saw a dragon? I'd totes be seeking it out! You are 10, 000% correct that nobody would believe you but if you could just speak with him/her imagine what you could learn! You'd just have to bring, like, 5 cows, you know so you'd appear instantly less appetizing. Then you could have tea and crumpets with a dragon! Or...something. Have you ever seen the Hobbit cartoon with Bilbo and Smawg talking? Imagine if it happened like that, now THAT would be thrilling.
Of course, on the other hand, you might see one flying around burning down a city and then honestly I'd likely run away too.
hahahahaha "cork my bum". I've never had Haitian food, is it so spicy? I might try some, then. I do love spicy food. I'd likely eat Italian. There are just so many different regional samplings and such a delightful amount of things done with pasta.
My two favourite movies are The Crow and The Princess Bride. Totes.
(If I did sell my soul it'd likely be for something like immortality so I could gather all the knowledge in the world and see how many years it takes for the human brain to truly reach capacity).
IF the sky opened up above me, or below me? I mean, where would I be when it occurred? Would I be on my feet on the ground or, like, sky diving? Honestly I don't think I'd fall anywhere, but I'd stop what I was doing and see what was gonna come out of this whole sky torn open thing.
What about you?
Magic? You mean like Wizards flinging fire-balls or more subtle things? I've seen and experienced things that I couldn't just explain. So, yes, I'd say I believe in magic to some extent (certainly not to the extent that someone is gonna fling a fire-ball at any one else [if only, sigh]).
Who do you think is the greater detective - Holmes or Wayne?
If you could rob a bank and get away with it, would you?
I'm happy for you. Your attitude is nice, try to keep it, hehe. Good luck with the songwriting. Good or bad it's great that you're writing something again. :)

Ok, I've started stalking you and I haven't left any comments, which really sucks of me. I'm tired and it's late, but I will be back. I have lots to say. Promise.
