I love to hurt

Mood: Worshipping at your door.

I carve my skin to remind me
I'm better off without you,
yet winter nights find me
worshippping at your door.

Hey, I'm back from the writing grave and wondered if you would do me the honour of checking my work. Hope you've kept well these last three years x

Hello :)

Thank you for the wonderful review of my little piece "Beneath the Surface". I must confess that I struggled with that one. Sometimes we feel something and it becomes important to express it, yet the imagery can`t easily covey it clearly. I suppose this poem wasn`t about a message, only a really dark state of mind, where you feel like you are in the shadows between reailty and dream, slipping out and in, everything becomes more symbols, more untouchable than they should be. I could explain closer the different symbols in the poem, but that would take some time and I think that when it comes to this type of poems, it`s better that the reader relates and interpret after his own emotions and accociations. I think that`s the beauty of poetry, not to tell someone what they should feel, but give an experience which they can explore, lol :) Thank you again for the review! I was greatly appreciated, and it was a bit dark, lol.. Chrystal
