Thanks for The Poet's Cat"--it's an older poem that I ( or the cat---) dragged in and revised a bit. The muse is very much as fickle as a cat---so I am never sure about writing that next poem---let alone compiling a book--S
Thank you for Silk Stockings-----there was a time a was so passionate about writing---I still am--but Life has a way of shifting our priorities around. I returned to this site which once was so nurturing---but everything has changed. However, I have discovered some great new talent, and these, ( including you) have spurred me on,--thanks again
Reply to "Do you feel better?" on my poem "Expletive". Ha! Yes, yes I do. I wasn't really feeling any anger particularly when I wrote that, but I guess I did feel better getting the words out there :P.
So you actually feel fairly strongly that God may come before our impending demise and take a dedicated few under his wing that our race might survive. I was raised christian (Lutheran), this is very similar to one of their articles of faith. Did you get this Idea from the bible or perhaps some organized religion or is it something you surmised personally? I could wish I held this true. It would make me feel a lot less up in the air over our impending preponderance. I keep thinking we need to somehow convince the public to reform without divine intervention. No doubt a tougher sell!! How can we make them feel like they need to reform their guilt with out the threat of gods vengeance?
