Pets...secretly weave their lives
in our space and time.
Travelers of a chosen Domain,
they lay their heads down
as permanent fixtures in our homes.
Always there when you need them.
Hard to part with when they go.
Never to forget when they're gone.
Only then do we realize how blessed
we were to have been "owned" by them.
They somehow managed
to brand their unique spirit
deep within the chambers of our hearts,
just around the corners of our minds...
fondest memories;
through pictures
and tears.
