    day 24

    you know how to walk
    right into my heart

    uproot it and
    transplant the poor wretched thing
    right into your skin

    you let me in
    you let me in
    you keep me in

you know just what to say
    where to touch
    how to move

    but you don’t change
    you don’t change
    i keep my mouth shut

i wither on the rocks in the garden of your love

i settle like a weed in the shadows
    starving for more
    hungry for change

Thank you for you comment on my piece 'The Silver'

I try to capture in all of my work a dark overtone, even in the more warming pieces I write. The world we live in is rife with conflict and darkened thoughts and I try to merely reflect our times in my work. I promise you I try to produce quality work. Thank you-

    -Dustin

I don't get on so often anymore, and I post even less... but a few months back you left some comments on some of my pieces and I wanted to thank you for the feedback...

Ha, thanks for the ego boost. So many compliments. Thanks for your words, that piece was going to be far longer when I first started on it but I kept trimming it down. I gotta tell you (not to sound like a complete perv), webcams are fascinating in how revealing some people can be to complete strangers...

anyway. Thanks again, glad you liked the piece

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
