hey... thanks for the comment it means a lot. i stopped cutting jan 19,2005. that was my 21st birthday.. and stupid me cut at midnight, instead of drinking like most people do. then i decided how fitting for that day to be the last time i ever SI. it's been hard not just to stop cutting but to not pick up the other SI methods. writing poetry was my oulet, and as you can't see i don't have many happy poems. i just don't have the emotion of happyness yet... but at least i am not sad. just have to work on getting from the nothingness to the happyness now :-D please read Good-Bye. that is a very good poem.. after you read it once i will tell you more about it. thanks again and i hope to read you stuff soon :-D

Glad you liked it. I will revise it with better Cajun dialect - I grew on the mississippi coast and about an hour from New Orleans so the i am famaliar with Cajun culture/custom. My first girlfriend was a cajun, even.
I plan on writing a book with this in mind. I'll be checking out more of your stuff - good night. Art Lives! T.J. |

Cool.
Look I forgot to mention, but take a look at my poem "Last Request." No one commented on it but it was inspired by "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" That was one of the last songs Nirvana ever recorded. I even downloaded the original version of that song by Huddie Leadbelly, recorded in 1925. At your convenience, tell me what you think. Thank you for reading and commenting on my poem. I feel a lot better talking to people about it, and things have been a million times better since then. I'm actually getting married this Saturday. We've been together for 5 years, been living together for 3 and it's been bliss. He saved me.
