Journal: I'm alive -------------------------------------------Mood: Brain Fried    Here's a public apology to all of my elite skills friends. I haven't died, I've merely disappeared. I've been writing a lot lately, but I seem to have moved from poetry to guidebooks. I'm heavily involved in portlandhikersfieldguide.com, an online hiking resource for my local area. Most of the writing is telling people what various trails are like, but I work in a bit of poetic nuance now and then. I've also reentered the world of nature photography. Hey mate, cheers 4 your comments on "Nutrition". Sorry it's taken me ages to get back, been off site for a while. Right then, I'm gonna say the same to you as I said to the other bloke: The piece was written in trochaic trimeter, there was nothing wrong with the meter. I added an unstressed syllable at the start of some lines, but that's perfectly acceptable. The piece was written in half-rhyme (assonance.) Glad u liked the story. I did think about presenting it line-by-line. What no one seems to have noticed is that it was an irony poem. Anyway, cheers!

23 days is a rather long time for you to be away... i hope its not a permanent state... so my last message (which this message will wipe off your page) i said i had started working at the castle... i worked there until i came off my motorbike on the way there some 9 weeks ago and busted my collarbone... it isnt doing a very good job of healing which is so frustrating... i dont know whats gonna come of it... they dont like operating and the specialist wasnt so concerned that the pieces were nowhere near touching 2 weeks ago (though my physio isnt so good about it lol) sunday is 3 years since my boy died. crazy stuff huh? the very thing that bought you and i together when you came to this site... anyways... i hope you dont stay away for too long. be well jaydee
