momma I know sometimes our opinions differ and our thoughts and feelings collide
But your love and devotion was strong enough to make our indifferences slide
We watched you struggle to make us better persons
Never asking anyone for help always smiling without reasons
Your children adore you for the sacrifices you made for them
A single woman having to raise eight children on her own
Only thinking of ways to turn our house into a home and preparing us for the unknown
For the many times you could'v said no but instead only asked when
For making this world a better place now than it was then
We thank you for loving us and helping us understand this world and what we can
For being there when many faced with what you went through would've packed up and ran
