Hi, to acknowledge a thing (God) “But how about those that simply don't care about God at all?”, that one (you) do not care is as prevalent as an aging parent, (a paradox) wasting away at a home. Their children (some) know they are there but choose to ignore them; basically to deny they ever existed. The same with God for an atheist, for God does exactly what you say all the time, but instead of living in the past, he or she (God) creates new life. Now that’s what I call something to be holding to, for at one time or another we (as Children) were all called angels, others little stinkers. I think, so I believe in paradoxes. poe

I think you misunderstood the meaning of "love be a junkie tonight". It isn't about a man making love to a woman who is a junkie. It's about a man addicted to making love to a woman addicted. He's just the first to realize both of their faults, and is hoping for a little redemption.
Thanks for the message on my poem. Actually, there are tons of bloods and crypts in New York. And those are all words directly from the kids that I work with, things they have told me over the years are reasons why they do it. Amazingly enough sometimes the stereotypes aren't all wrong...
