You are so welcome it is writers like you that keep people like me inspired and on the path to recovery.
I have been sober now 15 days which feels like forever and ever.
Time seems to last alot longer and it seems to really have 24 hrs in a day instead of less like before when I would have blackouts and couldnt remember the night before. I too was addicted to presiption drugs. I would take a percaset and drink on it or even a vicoden or anything I could grab.
When I was younger I was addicted to pot.
And now days when I smell it it brings me back to old memories.
And I gota be carefull.

Hey there I wanted to let you know that I apprecaite your writings. I used you poem They say...as And example of my additction to alcohol at a AA meting hope you dont mind.. you did get all the credit for such a great write.
I just told them that I had seen this poem on eliteskills and it matched how I felt and I liked it alot.
I dont know if your going threw addiction withdrawls like I am...but I Really wanted to give you encouragement to keep up this writing.

Thanks so much for the comment on It Was Almost Lovely. My writing has been so crap lately and thats the first original thing I've come out with in ages. I usually don't do unfinished stuff, I just didn't want to rush the ending. Thanks again!!

thanks for the comemnt on my poem, it means a lot. my friend says it hurts her to know i do, she feels like i cant come to her with my problems and i feel bad for it, but i also feel upset for her trying to take it away. i dont we will get througth this i hope thans again.
