I don't think you should have cut up some of the ones you did. I don't clearly remember them before, but I have the impression they offered a stronger emotional connection to the reader, which is absent in the shorter edits. Muah.

hey, it doesn't matter if anyone understands your poems. you don't owe anyone an explanation. especially if, as i said before, this is therapy for you. no one needs to know the story behind the poem. unless they ask, you don't need to answer to them. and even if someone askes, you only answer what you're comfortable with. sometimes not "getting" a poem makes it all the better. when you know every detail that makes up a poem, it's not as fun to read. keep that in mind.
