....Other than Revisiting an Old Character, it's been over a year since I last posted on here. Looking at some of my older posts I can see how much my writing has changed in both style and skill. I cringed a little when I looked over Forsaken Child; I can't believe how choppy it sounds! The imagary is still alright, but the actual sentence structure needs to be reworked. I think the next time I have writers block I'll tinker with that and maybe post a new poem if the mood strikes.

It was an interesting write for me, I just thought of the first stanza one day, and the rest came to me in the following week.

Yes, it is about my long away Lover. She does very well, though, and I love her a lot.

haha, i'm getting back to this soooo late because i havent been on here for a long bit but thanks for the feedback on writers block. i love writers block pieces because their so easy to convey frustration and it can get me to flow more easily! anyway, thanks for adding to the favs
