Thank you for taking the time to read and comment on "Tumult". I'm glad the shortness didn't cause you to overlook it. Thanks again for your kind words.

You use some very intriguing subject matter for your writing, particularly using Ishtar. I'm a bit of a history freak so I enjoyed that little bit a lot. Russian, mn? I can't imagine how the middle east would be; when I moved from Kovrov to Pennsylvania when I was 8 and the humidity skyrocketed, I couldn't handle it.

Thank you for your exceptionally kind comments on my poetry! Don’t worry about offering specifics on my poetry. I am too old and too set in my ways to listen any more! I have been writing poetry for many, many years and have had a great deal of them published here in USA and in the UK--for the most part in fairly small “traditionalist” or “formalist” journals. The “formalist” style, in English, is beginning to make a comeback, very slowly. (by formalism I mean poetry that is rhymed and/or metered.) For many years I thought I was one of only a tiny handful of poets working in that area. I have always tried to write the kind of poetry that I enjoy reading. My poetry has a decidedly Victorian flavor to it. Next year my first book of poetry, Arcade Of Dreams, by Michael Fantina (me) will be published in the UK by Rainfall Books, some 200 pages. This will be my first book, though I have tried for years to get a book of verse published. There is absolutely no money in poetry, none. Most of the “poets” you read about in the US are really professors of English at various universities who write the most awful poetry imaginable and constantly congratulate themselves upon their own genius! For the most part their poetry is dry, lifeless, politically correct nonsense….but once again thank you so very much for your kind comments! Michael

I'm not a pagan :) and the truth is, if you look deep enough, you also might notice me using these words extremly often: echoes, skies, time, blasphemy, eyes, crimson, masacrilic, war (or battle) and such. I could really count more then ten words. However, now that you mention it, I am not religious either. No pagan, not religious, what does that leave you with? Nothing. And that's the truth. I have no religion, I don't worship anything. In my country (Croatia) people find that weird because here they're mostly christians and catholics and when you come up and tell them that you were never baptised or don't go to church or you're not even religious they go like WHAT???
