Journal: ATU -------------------------------------------Mood: Sleepy    So, I saw Across the Universe yesterday. Huzzah, it finally expanded! Anyways, it was an amazing movie. There's a pretty big hype to go and see it while one's high (I'm pretty straight edge, so I don't do drugs and I didn't do this) though I don't see what use it would be, as there were only three scenes (including the ending credits) that were really psyched out. My favorite character was Max. Totally. Which is weird as I thought I'd be drawn to the one with a thick British accent (Jude) and I... wasn't. Across The Universe was amazing, and I saw it high, and it WAS indeed more amazing. The whole thing, including the music, hits your harder. The trippy scenes are indeed trippier, the happy scenes are happier... and the sad parts... well, they follow the same pattern. Anyways, Just wanted to let you know ive been looking through old poems and comments, and yours was one of the few that read, understood, and commented one of my poems the way i'd like to receive them. If you ever come back, and get around to it, I have a new poem titled "Soft Spoken" that im really trying to get some input on, as it marks a major change in my writing style. Not to mention you seem to be able to understand my poems, give this new one a shot.

Thanks for your comment on "Class". Yeah, I don't think it would have sounded so horribly corny if I had felt more of the writing spirit that day. I'm going through a terrible case of writers block. Bleh. Thanks again!!!

thanks for catching the typo; I'll fix it. And nitid is one of my new favorite words. I use it a lot. It means "bright." I got this book for christmas called "The Gilded Tongue" and it's a big dictionary of ridiculous obscure words than no one actually knows. It's probably not a good idea for me to go using them all the time, but I do anyway....

Thanks for the comment on "Ode to the Ugly Ducklings." You were right on. I actually wrote it as an assignment for my biology teacher on natural selection. :)
