ok so i've noticed that almost everyone on here is trying to write something deep and meaningful but i dont think that people realise that good poetry does not have to be depressive and angsty! Hasn't anyone read the Jabberwocky? amazing poem! or Spike Milligan! ["Spider Spider... my fave poem!]
Poems can come from anything the thoughts youre having at the time! something nostalgic! its not always doom and gloom and depression! whilst i do actually appreciate a lot of it i think this online writing community needs to perk up a bit, write something light, fuzzy, nonsensical- if you catch my drift!
And another thing i really cant stand that when publishing their works on here for others to see some people use computor short hand! as in u or tho! Everyones a budding literary genius! why are you doing this! Your NOT emailing friends! be a bit more professional!!!! the only time i think this is acceptable is if you're making a point through it!
anyway rant over!
keep writing be happy! dont judge me too harshly- or do- i'm not that bothered!
If you wouldn't mind re-reading my poem "untitled" and give me a second opinion that would be Fantastic. I completely changed one of my stanza's around and trying to fit things together. I'm stil worried about the flow from one stanza to the next. Thanks you!!!
It's time to bring sexy back to poetry people. Only you have to unleash the devil inside that lurks in all of us. Accept who you are! *evil maniacle laughs*HAHAHAHAHA! WCGNM (World Coalition of Good News Messengers) is coming to a town near you!
