So no one ever really comments here...it's getting a little depressing and empty...So I got went to WritersCafe.org...It's pretty nice so I'll doubt that I'll be checking here much. I'm leaving it up just in case something does happen...
I love neutral milk hotel. the lyrics just so packed, so brutally, beautifully honest, yet eloquent and original and the music, the music!!! for the life of me, I can't remember the name of that song, but I think it's the title track, if there is one... It comes after the seond & third parts of the king of carrot flowers, right? right?
oh, and thanks for the comment! everything you said- yeah. I've got to start trying new things, cause the old ways of saying are for the old things, and I think that's gone by the bywaysidewardsness.
heyo. thanks for the comment. Do you really think that would impress someone, or just impress upon them very strongly that you're completely nuts? And is leapt really not a word? damn. I used to say amn't when I was little. That's not a word, either. But I liked it.
Why does God have to be so violent? I guess the answer depends on your perspective. What the Bible reveals about God from the beginning is His creativity. He was able to speak things into existence. God spent a great deal of time thinking about what He wanted the universe to look like and particularly the Earth.
But then a war erupted in Heaven. The first angel God created decided he wanted to be God. A rebellion caused one third of the angels in Heaven to join the instigator. As a result, God violently tossed Lucifer and his followers outside the Presence of God.
God established rules to be followed. Now, in addition to His role as Creator, He was compelled to become an Enforcer of rules. Disobedience to the rules, absent mercy and forgiveness, were severe.
Then Lucifer (Satan) tempted God's jewels of Creation (Adam and Eve) causing them to fall into sin. I imagine at this point God was rightfully angry. But He deferred his wrath to a place called the Judgment. He established the opportunity for Mankind to repent and receive God's forgiveness.
God is not to be taken lightly. He requires obedience. He means business. That is why He sent Jesus.
