Hi Taateli Many thanks for your comments on my poem. Indeed you are correct on your thinking, i was writing about how people are judged by society and either listened to or forgotten beacuse they are deemed to be a drunk, a bore, a bully or thug or some other description.Instead of doing something original; and finding out who they really are. My hope is one day we will be seen for just that, who we are not as what we are judged to be. Best Wishes Colin Douglas

I understand the "some night" part now, maybe it would be better if you wrote it like "for a night" or "only tonight"? I think it's more understandable that way. Ah, the shades of blue! "Blind boys never lie, behind the shades of blue". Though I've always thought they are refering to shades as sunglasses here. Hmm. I think they are, lol. :)

yeah im a yr 12, but exams dont start for another 11 weeks. the teachers havent really got us doing anything constructive. most of us havent even finishe mid year assignments and since we are a "disadvantaged" school we get the leaniency to do it. i say screw that!!! when we get into the real world, our employer isnt going to give a rats where we came from. they want to know we can do the work on time. the only bonus being a disadvantaged student is, is that uni gives you extra consideration, and you get into more theatre performances cheaper. pretty limited huh? i saw the best thing today. n emo picking on another emo for being emo. confused? so am i :) good luck on your exams. evelyn

oh, and i like whay you say about the "emo" crowd. they drive me insane. they are taking over the school. its funny how intellegent you feel after exams. whay year are you doing. im in yr 12. did you know that cs lewis and tolkien were best friends, which is why i found a lot of similarities in it, but because of tolkien's life experience, he really detailed things, so they wouldnt get misread. people still misread them. i havent actuay read lewis. is it good. and they always ruin the movie. same with LOTR and Harry potter.

thanks for your comment on writers block. its how i get over things like that,if i personify them. its justa tool i use. other people write things that they dont normally do. i might try that one day.
