    Journal: Bizarreness
    -------------------------------------------
    Mood: Paranoid

    I was on vacation for a week and well.. it was quite bizarre. I found a wonderful cemetary not to far from my dwelling. Funny thing is, I must have searched a thousand thousand times for cemetaries in my area.. and.. never ever before did this one come up on any list. No.. there's more. It is not a new cemetary, it has been around since right after the civil war. It actually has a dedication monument there for the unknown dead of the civil war. The cemetary also has the highest volume of Freemasons and (whatever type of) Witches (freemasons marry). The freemason symbol and a very specific pentangle adorn these head stones. Also, the seem to be all clustered together. The prospect of headstone rubbings are endless. What a little gem to have found. Just bizarre that I did not come across it sooner.

    I watched a Masters of Horror episode,
    Clive <3 Barker's Haeckel's Tale.

    * ! * SPOILER ALERT * ! *

    Yeah.. that one started out really good.. man's wife dies, man is devastated, man runs to necromancing witch, witch refuses to resurrect wife, man asks why, witch tells him Heackel's Tale... Now although the story was solid, the acting was okay (maybe a little campy or overacted, but just a little), the direction was good, even the sets were nice.. when it boils down to it, Haeckel's Tale is all about necrophilia. It was very bizarre...

    I was going to write some more, but I'm tired, it's 230am and I have to get up at 6 for work. So, goodnight, good luck. Rest in peace.

    Victoria, thank you SO very much for your wonderfully kind comments on my poem Vampiress! You are too kind, but I do so appreciate it. The rhyme schemes in this poem were suggested by the poems of Algernon Charles Swinburne, one of my fav poets...you might try read his "A Match" or "A Forsaken Garden"... hugs... michael

    Thanks for the comment... I really didn't think it was that good but I hadn't posted anything in an eternity... It's great to get some encouragement.
