The funny thing about the word Desire is that i can be two syllables or three. Dictionary.com and m-w.com count it as a two syllable word. It's like the word fire.

thanks for your comment. i wasn't really trying to portray the life of a soldier. the soldier was merely an immagery device saying i was and am willing to fight for his love. like a soldier who fights for something gretaer than himself.
