To hell with procrastination!
I have finally written a short story (well, an excerpt anyway) in one sitting! *ich bin proud*
The short story is called "I'm Here to Save You" (please don't fry me to a crisp by saying that it's a very generic title. I might change it if I get a better idea, but currently I am too elated to care so much about it yet.) and, as I have written before, I've always found it way too hard for me to write a story without getting distracted or deviating from the plot. And although what I wrote was only a tiny fraction of the real story, it is something and I will take it in all its glory.
I cannot promise I'll ever finish the entire story, although I most certainly have the entire plot in my mind. The excerpt that I wrote is actually supposed to be somewhere near the climax of the entire story. There IS an entire big plot concerning the way Fir and Deven met online. I have tried writing that part three times, but gave up due to certain circumstances. Maybe, when the mood strikes, I will be able to write that part, but that part in itself would near a few hundred thousand words.
I'm off to rereading my excerpt and correcting it further. Ta-ta for now.
