Thank you for your comment on "A Mother's Love" - I really appreciate you taking the time to read my work. So sorry to hear of your loss, dear. Circumstances can be awful, I know. It's aways sad when a mother has to give up her child. My mother's mother left her when she was two, so I know second hand what that's like. My mother always swore she'd be a better mom and she's definetly kept that vow. So, though as hard to see as it generally is, something good generally comes from something bad, we just have to search for a while sometimes to find it. I couldn't imagine losing a sister. My mom's sister died at a very young age, and I know that was hard on her, but I was a lont way from being born then, so I never knew her. I wish I could offer words of comfort, but I only hve these: Remember God is great, yet sometimes life isn't good; but if we didn't experience the bad, we would take God's blessing for granted. If we hold to His hand, we're never alone, and with faith we can overcome all things. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Cheers and God bless, ~Mandi~

Dax, Thanks for the comment re Lighthouse. Interesting that you liked the two lines that i was most ify about, i think that speaks more to my fear of sounding like a wanker than anything else. Happy that those lines spoke to you. Re the title, the warning symbology is precisely the angle i was implying throughout the piece, as well as the sense of isolation (ironic as it is). Strange you didn't pick that up... Hope autumn in BC is a beautiful as i remember it. Cheers Abzy
